According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, from March 28, the obligation to wear a mask in open space is canceled in Georgia. This will be advisory only. This was stated by the head of the operational headquarters of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council of the Government of Georgia Giorgi Gibradze.

Wearing a mask will continue to be required on public transport and indoors.

“The obligation to wear a mask on public transport and indoors will be maintained. Quantitative restrictions will also be lifted for public catering establishments, as well as sports, creative or other events, including secular ones. In addition, employees from remote work will return to their jobs,” - Gibradze said.
