Lari again depreciated against the dollar - exchange rate

The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on August 16, the US dollar strengthened and amounted to 2.8019 lari. The current exchange rate was 2.7877 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to -1.42 tetri.
The euro devalued, the rate of which is now 2.8378 lari. While the current exchange rate was 2.8426 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.48 tetri.
The Turkish lira strengthened to 0.1560 lari, the British pound also strengthened to 3.3682 lari.
The exchange rates determined as a result of today's trading will come into effect on August 17th.
