The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on August 17, the US dollar exchange rate did not change and amounted to 2.8019 lari. The current exchange rate was 2.8019 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 0 tetri.
The euro strengthened, the rate of which is 2.8507 lari. While today's exchange rate was 2.8378 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 1.22 tetri.
The Turkish lira strengthened to 0.1560 lari, the pound sterling also strengthened to 3.3900 lari.
The exchange rates established as a result of today's trading will come into effect on August 18.
