The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. The US dollar strengthened to 2.9326 lari following the results of trading on June 22. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.9277 lari.
Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 0.49 lari. The euro depreciated, the exchange rate of which is 3.0857 lari. The current exchange rate was 3.0925 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.68 tetri.The Turkish lira strengthened to 0.1690 lari, while the pound sterling fell to 3.5954 lari.The rates established as a result of today's trading will take effect from June 23.
