The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. During trading on May 20, the US dollar depreciated to 2.9036 lari. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.9262 lari. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 2.26 tetri.
The euro also depreciated and amounted to 3.0738 lari. While the current exchange rate was 3.0789 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.51 tetri.The Turkish lira depreciated to 0.1821 lari, the pound sterling also depreciated to 3.6240 lari.The rates established as a result of today's trading will take effect from May 21.
