The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on June 21, the US dollar depreciated to 2.9277 lari. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.9340 lari.
Accordingly, the change in the exchange rate of the dollar against the national currency amounted to 0.63 lari. The euro strengthened and amounted to 3.0925 lari. The current exchange rate was 3.0913 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.12 tetri.
The Turkish lira depreciated to 0.1687 lari, while the sterling pound strengthened to 3.6002 lari. The exchange rate established as a result of today's trading will take effect from June 22.
