As a result of the inspection, it was established that a minor, 15-year-old boy, worked for 5 months at a cattle slaughterhouse, whose duties included cleaning the territory and removing garbage (cleaning the insides, loading meat into the car and cleaning the territory). The teenager worked without personal protective equipment, etc.).
During the conversation with the minor, it turned out that shortly after the start of work, the authorized person of the company (deputy director / clerk) systematically asked him to assist in the activities of his farm adjacent to the slaughterhouse, which are related to the care of livestock. The management of the organization, threatening with dismissal, forced the minor to work for months in a personal household, for which he did not receive any remuneration.
Five months after starting work, the minor refused to work on the farm, after which he was verbally and physically abused and fired from his job without monetary compensation for the days worked.
The Labor Inspection Service fined the organization 10,000 lari for violating forced labor and labor rights.
