The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan took place today in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.
The host of today's meeting was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilya Darchiashvili.
Darchiashvili wrote on Twitter that he was very proud that the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia took place in Tbilisi. “I am convinced that our joint efforts to build peace and stability in the region will bring concrete results,” Darchiashvili wrote.
Earlier, the decision to hold a meeting between Mirzoyan and Bayramov was welcomed by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar, who visited Baku and Yerevan this week, where he met with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
