According to the executive secretary of the Georgian Dream Mamuka Mdinaradze, Sozar Subari, Mikhail Kavelashvili and Dmitry Khundadze are leaving the Georgian Dream faction, as well as party and parliamentary positions.

According to Mdinaradze, members of the ruling party made this decision because they believe that the public does not have enough information about political events and more information needs to be disseminated.

“Sozar Subari, Mikheil Kavelashvili and Dmitry Khundadze are leaving the Georgian Dream faction, party and parliamentary positions. They believe that due to political events, more information about political processes should be disseminated. “There was a dispute on this topic, and they decided that to achieve this goal, they need a free parliamentary mandate,” said Mamuka Mdinaradze.

For reference, after the departure of three deputies, 81 deputies remain in the Georgian Dream faction. According to the Constitution of Georgia, the support of 76 members of parliament is required to form a government.
