“Citizens of Georgia are returning to their homeland from Kazakhstan. On January 14, a flight was made from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Georgia, by which 8 citizens of Georgia, including members of the Ilori ensemble, returned to their homeland,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Pia.ge.
“It is noteworthy that in connection with the events taking place in Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Honorary Consulate of Georgia and representatives of the Georgian diaspora were in constant contact with the citizens of Georgia. With the assistance of the embassy, during this period, the citizens of Georgia were provided with food, medicines and basic necessities. By that time, more than 100 citizens of Georgia had returned to Georgia from Kazakhstan.
