According to the head of "Tav Georgia" Tea Zakaradze, during 14 days in October, all the flights departing from Kutaisi will be operated from Tbilisi International Airport.
As Zakaradze mentioned in his conversation with BM.GE, the decision has already been made.
"We have expressed our readiness and confirm that for 14 days in October, and at this stage we have an agreement on only 14 days, all flights that used to be performed at Kutaisi International Airport will be performed only for 14 days at Tbilisi International Airport.
As for other plans, we don't have any definite plan with Wizz Air, but if there is a demand, why not discuss it, but at this stage I will specify once again that it is only for two weeks", - says Tea Zakaradze.
For information, Kutaisi airport will be closed from October 10 to October 24.
According to the information of the Union of Airports, the reason for the closure of the airport is planned repair work for the rehabilitation of the runway.
