According to Nika Gvaramia, ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer, he talked with his client about his transfer to the Gldani prison and the Gori military hospital. It was also about the episode with the clock.
As Gvaramia noted, he will continue to study materials about the facts of inhuman treatment of Saakashvili.
“We talked about the torture case, and I'm going to go through the materials again. I was wondering what specific questions he has. The state of health is unchanged and it is very important that doctors are allowed to see him," Nika Gvaramia said.
According to Gvaramia, Deputy Head of the Penitentiary Department Giorgi Giorgadze will soon be brought to justice for his actions against Mikheil Saakashvili.
“Mr. Giorgi Giorgadze will certainly bear responsibility for his actions, and soon everyone will see what he did, and whether Saakashvili knew where he was being led, everyone will soon see this too,” Nika Gvaramia said.
Former President Mikheil Saakashvili was arrested on October 1 last year. He is currently in the 12th penitentiary in Rustavi.
