“On December 10, 2021, Georgian citizen Mamuka Chkhikvadze, born in 1981, was detained on charges of violating the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia. During a personal search, more than 4 grams of the marijuana drug was found.
On August 4, the Tskhinvali court found Chkhikvadze guilty of smuggling narcotic drugs on a large scale and sentenced him to 3 years and 8 months in prison.
