Ukrainian lawyer for the third president of Georgia, Evgeny Grushovets, writes on the Facebook social network about the transfer of Mikheil Saakashvili from the Gori hospital to the Rustavi prison.
According to him, Mikheil Saakashvili was sent to prison under the influence of strong drugs.
“As in the previous case, Mikheil Saakashvili was transferred to prison under the influence of powerful sedatives and drugs. Because of this, doctors, lawyers and the Ombudsman were not allowed to see him.
Pharmacological torture is the use of psychotropic substances or other drugs to punish a person or to obtain information from him. The goal is to force obedience, cause stress, which can manifest itself in the form of pain, anxiety, psychological disturbances and disorientation,” - Evgeny Grushovets wrote.
