At that moment, when Mikheil Saakashvili began to issue a statement, the judge turned to him and asked him to turn to her during his speech, to which the accused replied that he was addressing only the Georgian people, since he did not respect the court under this government.
“This conference room is mine, this flag behind you is also mine, this is the chair in which you sit, I installed, I made these auditoriums, and this cage. I do not need your clarification about where I am. Everything that has been done in this country and that has not yet been spoiled has been done by me. And you are the same judge as I am an astronaut," - Mikheil Saakashvili said.
According to lawyers, Mikheil Saakashvili is not obliged to look the judge in the eye.

Former President Mikheil Saakashvili was arrested on October 1 last year. He is currently in the 12th prison in Rustavi.
