Zurab Zviadauri released from prison

The Telavsky district court released the Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri and Jaba Dzhangirashvili, accused of premeditated murder. Both were in pre-trial detention.
As reported by Rustavi 2, the defense demanded a deposit of 50 thousand lari for Zviadauri and 5 thousand lari for Jaba Dzhangirashvili.
The judge granted the defense motion, and the defendants were released from the courtroom on bail.
The murder took place on August 16 in the village of Tsinandali, Telavi municipality.
As a result of the shootout, three people were killed and two were injured. Zviad Zviadauri, brother of former deputy and Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri, was one of the victims.
Zurab Zviadauri was charged under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia - "Intentional Murder".
