Ukrainian forces left Lysichansk

The armed forces of Ukraine have left the city of Lysichansk, where the most bloody battles have taken place in recent days.
As stated in the General Staff of Ukraine, "iron will and patriotism alone are not enough to protect the city, material and technical resources are also needed."
According to the head of the Lugansk regional administration, Sergei Gaidai, Russian forces outnumbered Ukrainian units by ten times. Russian forces have transferred owls from all possible directions near Lisichansk. “Our troops skillfully repelled enemy attacks, despite their multiple numerical superiority. But we have not yet received heavy enough weapons, including long-range artillery. They completely occupied Lisichansk. Belogorovka and Zolotarevka were also taken,” Gaidai said.
According to the information of the General Staff of Ukraine, their troops did not get into the encirclement and left the city in an organized manner. Civilians were also evacuated. Ukrainian forces assume that Russian units will now attack the city of Slavyansk.
Lisichansk is a satellite city of Severodonetsk and is located on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River. About two weeks ago, Severodonetsk was occupied by Russian troops. Before that, the city was almost completely destroyed as a result of artillery and rocket attacks.
