The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on August 8, the US dollar depreciated and amounted to 2.7141 lari. The current exchange rate was 2.7178 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 0.0037 tetri.
The euro also devalued, the exchange rate of which is 2.7662 lari. While the current exchange rate was 2.7806 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.0144 tetri.
The Turkish lira was devalued to 0.1511 lari, the pound sterling was also devalued to 3.2835 lari.
The exchange rates determined as a result of today's trading will come into effect on August 9.
