The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on August 18, the US dollar depreciated and amounted to 2.7891 lari. The current exchange rate was 2.8019 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the exchange rate of the dollar against the national currency amounted to 1.28 tetri.
The euro devalued, the exchange rate of which is 2.8357 lari. While the current exchanged was 2.8507 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 1.50 tetri.
The Turkish lira has devalued and now costs 0.1552 lari, the pound sterling has also been devalued and will cost 3.3614 lari.
The exchange rates set as a result of today's trading will come into effect on August 19.
