The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on October 7, the US dollar depreciated and amounted to 2.7997 lari. Today's rate was 2.8043 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 0.46 tetri.
The euro depreciated, which can be bought for 2.7429 lari. While today's exchange rate was 2.7712 lari. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.0283 tetri.
The Turkish lira devalued to 0.1507 lari and the British pound was also devalued to 3.1340 lari.
The exchange rates set as a result of today's trading will come into effect on October 8th.
