The highest legislative body has approved the main financial document for 2022. Parliament approved the state budget for 2022 by 78 votes to one.
According to the parliament, the main priority areas of the state budget for 2022 are healthcare and social programs, education and infrastructure projects. Next year, it is planned to increase the salaries of licensed teachers, as well as increase pensions and increase the size of state payments to war veterans and military personnel.
The macroeconomic parameters of the main financial document are as follows: GDP growth is projected at 6%. This amounts to 65 billion lari at par. The deficit is set at 4.2%, and allocations reach 19 billion 171 million lari. The forecast for income tax is 4 643 million lari, current expenses - 14.8 billion lari. and capital expenditures - 5.9 billion lari. As for the budget revenues, their size is 19 362.6 million lari.
After consideration in committees and at plenary meetings, the state budget for 2022 was finally approved.
