Russian occupation forces illegally detained two Georgian citizens near the occupied village of Tsinagara. Information about this is being disseminated by the State Security Service.
According to this information, the State Security Service has activated a "hot line", informed the EU Observer Mission and the co-chairs of the Geneva talks.
“The central government of Georgia is using all the mechanisms at its disposal for the release of illegally detained persons.
The Russian occupation forces bear full responsibility for the violation of fundamental human rights in the occupied territories and along the line of occupation.
“These and other illegal actions damage local security and complicate the daily life of the population,” the Georgian State Security Service said in a statement.
