The A340-300 plane of German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock was able to land at Tbilisi International Airport only on the second attempt. Spiegel reports.

“The plane had already released the landing gear and was about to land, but then suddenly picked up speed and took off again,” the article says.
As a result, the plane arrived in Tbilisi with a 20-minute delay at 23:20.
“There was another plane on the runway that didn’t complete the maneuver fast enough,” said pilot of Analena Burbock.
In the same time the Sakaeronavigatsia company categorically denies the information that another aircraft was on the runway during the landing of the Burbock aircraft. Georgian navigation issued a statement saying that the plane's go-around was the pilot's decision, this is an absolutely regular event and is not considered an emergency.
Analena Burbock arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit. She meets with representatives of the government, parliament, opposition and civil society.
