Aviation of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs resumed regular flights from Alvani to Tusheti (Eastern Georgia). The helicopter has already delivered the first passengers to the village of Omalo.
The helicopter of the border police will regularly fly to Omalo and nearby villages, will serve the local population together with the border guards, so that the population can fly to Tusheti and from Tusheti in winter before the start of the operation of the highway.
