Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to open a railway

Charles Michel called on Baku and Yerevan to work in good faith and contribute to de-escalation.

“The EU is providing an expert mission / advisory group to provide technical assistance to both sides in border delimitation,” the statement said.

The document says that the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, agreed that in the context of negotiations on delimitation and demarcation, the following steps should be taken to help de-escalate tensions on the ground and facilitate negotiations.
