The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health releases statistics on infections, recoveries and deaths over the past week.
According to the center, between August 28 and September 2, 12,787 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, 14,257 people recovered, and 8 people died from the virus.
The positive test rate for 7 days is 17.41%.
A total of 73,436 tests were conducted across the country.
For reference, during the period of August 21-28, 13,737 infections, 14,486 recoveries and 3 deaths were recorded in the country.
