Accident on the Rikoti Pass – One Person Killed

On the Rikoti Pass (Central Georgia), a traffic accident on the highway resulted in the death of one person.
According to available information, a truck and a car collided, leaving one person dead.
As the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs told Newshub.ge, an investigation has been launched under Article 276 of the Criminal Code, which concerns violations of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation regulations.
Due to the accident, traffic congestion formed on a section of the Tbilisi–Senaki–Leselidze highway.
