The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has charged one person with the illegal acquisition, possession, and facilitation of distribution of narcotic drugs in especially large quantities. This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.
“During the investigation carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was established that the accused illegally acquired and possessed 11.37 grams of the narcotic drug ‘alpha-PVP,’ which he packaged into 35 packets for illegal distribution.
The detainee has been charged under subparagraph ‘a’ of part 3 of article 260 and subparagraph ‘a’ of part 6 of article 260¹ of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for imprisonment from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, the accused has already been placed in pre-trial detention as a preventive measure,” the statement reads.
