Alan Gagloev is not an agent of Georgia and the USA - Tskhinvali

The so-called Security Committee called South Ossetia categorically denied Russian media reports that the de facto leader of Tskhinvali, Alan Gagloev, is an agent of the Georgian and American special services. This opinion was expressed by Russian political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov on Soloviev Live.

“Specialists of the South Ossetian Security Committee drew attention to the statement, which, assessing the current domestic political events in South Ossetia, mentions the links between the newly elected president Alan Gagloev and lobbying for the interests of Georgia and the United States in the South Caucasus.In this context, the Security Committee states that this statement not only does not correspond to reality, but also contradicts the allied relations between South Ossetia and Russia and the unified security contour,” the Security Committee said de facto.The Security Committee states that it has no information about Alan Gagloev's connections with Georgian and foreign special services.“All presidential candidates undergo a special check, which excludes the appointment to a high position of a person whose biography may contain signs of illegal and anti-state actions,” - the  the de facto security committee said.They also claim that Alan Gagloev began his career in the service in the  security agencies of so-called South Ossetia, he was a reserve officer and a participant in the August 2008 war, when his family suffered heavy losses.
