Lari Continues to Strengthen — Exchange Rate

The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate. As a result of trading on August 1, the US dollar depreciated and now stands at 2.7050 lari. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.7061 lari.
The euro also depreciated — its rate became 3.0872 lari. Today’s rate was 3.0936 lari.
The Turkish lira also fell in value, and now amounts to 0.0665 lari.
The exchange rate established as a result of today’s trading will come into effect on August 2.
