In Khulo (Western Georgia), on the road leading to Mount Zortykheli, a car fell into a ravine.
As a result of the accident, a woman about 40 years old died at the scene, and the driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to Newshub.ge quoting the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, an investigation is underway under Part 6 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which concerns the violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules. The same act, if committed while intoxicated, is punishable by imprisonment from six to nine years, along with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
