Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, who is visiting Tbilisi as part of the 6th session of the Georgia–Turkey Intergovernmental Economic Commission. This was reported by the Administration of the Government of Georgia.
According to the information, special attention during the meeting was given to the strategic partnership between the two countries and the prospects for further deepening of cooperation. The important role of the joint economic commission in developing bilateral trade and economic relations was emphasized.
During the discussion, the sides reviewed infrastructure projects of regional and strategic importance that contribute to strengthening connectivity.
The meeting also focused on ongoing regional developments and the special importance of peace in the South Caucasus. The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Georgian government’s readiness to support dialogue and thereby contribute to ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Jorjoliani.
