The National Environmental Agency of Georgia is warning the country’s population about possible deterioration of weather conditions.
According to the agency, from August 16 until the morning of August 17, short-term rain is expected in the eastern districts of Eastern Georgia, in some places heavy, with thunderstorms, and possible hail and fog.
The expected precipitation may cause flooding of small rivers in Eastern Georgia, as well as trigger and intensify landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous areas (danger level — medium).
