The UN Conference was very interesting, and we made full use of this format to defend our country’s interests, said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, speaking to journalists in Turkmenistan.
According to the head of government, bilateral meetings were held with leaders of regional countries within the framework of the conference.
“Georgia connects around ten countries to the Black Sea and the West, and based on this, our country plays a particularly important role in this direction. It was important for us to exchange information with relevant countries, our partners, and to hold broad discussions on issues of cooperation. We participated in the plenary session, had the opportunity to speak, and this format also allowed us to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of countries in our region. We also had a meeting with the UN Secretary-General, during which we had an interesting conversation on various topics. Overall, the conference was very interesting, and we fully used this format to defend the interests of our country,” the Prime Minister of Georgia stated.
