Lari Strengthened – Exchange Rate

The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate. As a result of trading on August 22, the US dollar depreciated to 2.7051 lari. The rate in effect today was 2.7068 lari.
The euro also depreciated, with the rate set at 3.1366 lari. Today’s rate was 3.1532 lari.
The Turkish lira also fell in value, amounting to 0.0660 lari.
The exchange rate established as a result of today’s trading will come into effect on August 23.
