A fuel shortage is being observed in occupied Abkhazia. Long queues have formed at gas stations, reports Echo of the Caucasus.
According to the so-called Minister of Energy, Batal Mushba, a new shipment of fuel from Russia is expected to arrive soon and will be distributed among participants in the fuel market.
He noted that during the summer period, when the number of passenger trains from Russia to the occupied region increases, fuel deliveries by rail become more complicated.
The situation has also been aggravated by problems at Russian oil refineries caused by Ukrainian drone attacks.
