Police detain man wanted in Georgia since 2018

Officers of the Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti Police Department and the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, detained in the Samegrelo region G.Z., born in 1984, who had previously been repeatedly convicted of especially serious crimes.
Since 2018, G.Z. had been wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for committing a crime under Article 177 of the Criminal Code.
The detained G.Z. has been transferred to a penitentiary facility.
